Microdermabrasion exfoliates dead skin cells to restore skin vibrancy and reduce fine lines to create an even skin texture and tone without discomfort or downtime.
Our microdermabrasion technology uses diamond tipped wands rather than traditional crystal particles making the treatment more comfortable and removing the need for you to wash crystals out of your hair later.
What are the benefits of microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is best used as a deep exfoliation treatment to support your skin care routine every 1 - 2 months. However, it is also great as a one-off pick me up to boost your skin’s appearance and radiance in preparation of an evening event.
Dead and dull skin cells are removed to reveal new cells - giving you a fresher natural radiance.
It creates a smoother skin surface with a more even skin tone by removing mild skin blemishes.
It is quick - taking less than 30 minutes.
It has no downtime or discomfort.
What are the limitations of microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is not an effective treatment for stretch marks, deep wrinkles, deep pigmentation or acne scars.
Who can have Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion can be performed on all skin types - except those with active acne, cold sores or skin diseases. It is a perfect alternative for clients with sensitive skin or those who do not want a chemical peel or fractional skin resurfacing.
You can return to your normal routine straight after your treatment and can even reapply your makeup right away.
Some clients may experience temporary redness and swelling, but this resolves within a couple of hours.
Others may get dry and flaky skin for a few days after the procedure as a result of the exfoliation, but this is resolved by using your favourite moisturiser.
After any skin resurfacing procedure your face will be more sensitive to the sun, so you should use and SPF 30 or higher sun protector for at least 2 days afterwards.
