Scottish Medical Cosmetic Awards 2017 finalists in 4 categories Best Clinic, Best Dentist, Best Nurse and Best Aesthetician.1

Scotland’s Medical Cosmetic Awards recognise those who make a real difference in developing the cosmetic and aesthetic industry in Scotland.  At the inaugural event in 2015 Face & Body won Best Medical Cosmetic Clinic and Best Aesthetician, so we are delighted to be finalists at the second award ceremony in the four categories listed below.

Cosmetic Dentist of the Year

Victoria Dobbie finalist for Cosmetic Dentist of the Year 2017Victoria is nominated for this award for being one of the first dental surgeons in Scotland to adopt aesthetic medicine and showing how a dental surgeons’ knowledge of the facial anatomy, combined with their trained skill in eye to hand co-ordination, provide the perfect skills to become a highly successful aesthetic practitioner.  

Having performed over 20,000 treatments Victoria now acts as an ambassador for ultherapy, takes parts in steering group discussion on dermal filler product development and delivers seminars at UK conferences.

For nine years, she has consistently been one of the leaders in Scotland’s aesthetic industry promoting best practice and professional safe aesthetic treatments.

Cosmetic Nurse of the Year

Claire Jackson finalist for Cosmetic Nurse of the Year 2017Claire is nominated for this award for her professional attitude to her work both in patient safety and skill development.  She treats all patients with respect and care, seeking to deliver an outcome that addresses their concerns.  
During 2016 Claire has provided many corrective treatments to patients who have had lip filler treatments with poor outcomes by other unprofessional providers.  Her compassionate approach and skill has helped many distressed young ladies.

Aesthetician of the Year

Becky Hymers finalist for Aesthetician of the Year 2017Becky is nominated for this awards because: of the enormous effort she has put into developing her knowledge and skill over three years; the great pride she takes in her work and the care she provides to her patients; and the standard of aesthetic outcomes she is achieving with minimum downtime and discomfort. 

Becky has become an expert in delivering laser hair and tattoo removal, IPL skin rejuvenation, CoolSculpting and EndyMed whilst of course delivering our fantastic Vitamin Pro Medi-Facials.
